Rtn. Dr. Rajendra Wankhade, Rtn. Anant Deore, Rtn. Bhuvaneshwaran R., Rtn. Shashank Divecha & Rtn. Ashwin Rathod, with the vision of doing social work for the community, formed this club under the leadership of DG Dr. Mayuresh Warke in the year 2021. Rotary Club of Ambernath sponsored this club & Rtn. Vikas Sankulkar was an NCA for this club. The idea behind the name Rotary Club of Central Kalyan was to cover the entire Kalyan/Murbad area. Also, the main focus was on the Flagship project of Cataract Operation along with other need-based projects in Rural Areas. The Charter was presented to our club on 19th August 2021 at the hands of RID A S Venkatesh.
In 2021-22, Rtn. Bhuvaneshwaran R. was the Chartered President, followed by Mr. Anant Deore as the Second President in 2022-23, and now Mr. Nitin Paudwal is the President in 2023-24.
